Terms of Service

Welcome to iClean Maids ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any associated platforms (collectively, the "System"). By using our services or accessing our System, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Service Overview
We provide commercial and residential cleaning services, and you agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited activities. Misuse of the system for spamming, hacking, or transmitting harmful content is strictly forbidden and may result in immediate termination of your access to our services. including but not limited to deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and recurring janitorial services. Bookings are made through our website and/or third-party scheduling tools integrated into our platform. Services and availability are subject to change at our discretion.

2. Eligibility
Our services are only available to individuals aged 18 and older who are legally authorized to request service for a given property. You may not use our services for any unauthorized, illegal, or fraudulent purpose.

3. Modifications to Terms
iClean Maids reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. We encourage users to check this page regularly. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a deep cleaning appointment without penalty if done more than 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total service fee.

  • Rescheduling within 48 hours is permitted once within the same week, subject to availability.

5. No-Show and Access Policy

  • Cleaners will wait up to 30 minutes from the scheduled start time. If access is not granted and no communication is made, a no-show fee of 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.

  • If entry is impossible due to client-related issues but communication is made, we will reschedule and charge the standard two-hour minimum rate.

6. Payments
Payment is due within 24 hours of service completion. We accept payment via the methods shown on our website or scheduling platform. Late payments may result in suspension of service and additional collection procedures. All rates and fees are subject to change at our discretion.

7. No Refunds or Re-cleans
We do not offer refunds or re-cleans. If we fail to arrive for a scheduled appointment, a full deposit will be refunded. Once a service is completed, all charges are final. Dissatisfaction alone does not entitle clients to a refund.

8. Liability and Damages
iClean Maids, including its employees, subcontractors, vendors, and affiliates, is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft to property, persons, or pets during service. By using our services, you waive any claims of liability against us. We do not assume responsibility for damages not caused by gross negligence. All liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Use of Third-Party Tools
Our services may be scheduled via third-party tools or platforms integrated into our website. We are not responsible for errors, interruptions, or service failures caused by these third-party tools. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms.

10. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By opting into our SMS service, you agree to receive messages regarding your appointments, confirmations, promotions, and updates.

  • You may cancel at any time by texting "STOP."

  • For support, reply "HELP" or contact info@icleanmaidsnyc.com.

  • Message and data rates may apply. You may receive recurring messages based on activity.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared with service providers or in business transfers, or as required by law, and only with your consent where applicable.

11. User Content: Reviews and Ratings
By submitting reviews or ratings, you grant us the right to use, reproduce, and display the content publicly for quality control, training, and promotional purposes. Submissions may be moderated or removed at our discretion.

12. Acceptable Use and User Conduct
You agree to use the System in a lawful and respectful manner. Prohibited actions include unauthorized access, reverse-engineering, scraping, impersonation, harassment, or uploading harmful content. Violation of these terms may result in termination of service.

13. Right to Refuse Service
iClean Maids reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to payment history, conduct, unclean or unsafe environments, or violations of our Terms.

14. Disclaimers
All services are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee results or assume liability for expectations not expressly written in a service agreement.

15. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Delaware. You waive the right to class actions and jury trials. This clause survives termination of service.

16. Privacy
We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, use, and share your data.

17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, without notice, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other reasons deemed appropriate by us.

18. Intellectual Property
All content on our System including text, graphics, logos, and technology is owned or licensed by iClean Maids and is protected by applicable laws. No portion may be reproduced without written consent.

19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and iClean Maids concerning your use of the System and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements.

21. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
